OKLAHOMA CITY -- Both lanes of eastbound Interstate 40 have reopened following an accident involving an overturned semi truck.
Oklahoma City police and Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews spent nearly four hours cleaning up the accident that occurred just before 9:30 a.m. at I-40 and Morgan Road.
The first lane reopened around 12:30 p.m. The second reopened just after 1 p.m.
The eastbound I-40 ramp on-ramp from Morgan Road is expected to remain closed throughout the day.
