OKLAHOMA CITY -- The third annual IgniteOKC networking event is the place to be for techies, artists, entrepreneurs, academics and others from 7 to 11 p.m. Thursday, March 3 at the Lyric Theatre. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with food and drinks provided by Iguana Grill.
Participants will share insights and ideas in short presentations to promote community connections. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
Reserved seating is available with the purchase in advance of a VIP ticket for $10.
All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Oklahoma City Metro Literacy Coalition with a matching donation by an anonymous donor to OKC Beautiful.
"Our goal is to connect people of diverse backgrounds, share the sparks of big ideas, and ignite inspiration in Oklahoma City's business and creative communities," said Justin Briggs, IgniteOKC event chair.
"Our first two events were very well received, and we've made some new additions that will help build on that momentum."
DJ Justine Lepak of "The Spy" radio station will emcee the event which also features musical performances by the band MOON. A pre-party kicks off this year's event in the Plaza District at 5 p.m.
