OKLAHOMA CITY -- Firefighters are battling a large apartment fire in northwest Oklahoma City.
The three-alarm fire broke out at the Terra Apartments near N.W. 61st Terrace and Brookline Avenue Thursday afternoon.
When firefighters arrived, heavy flames were coming from the complex's roof.
Maria Lugo said she was watching T.V. with her daughter when she noticed smoke coming from her laundry room. That's when she discovered a vacant apartment next door where work was being done was on fire.
Lugo managed to escape safely with her daughter and her dog.
Four apartments were damaged by the fire.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
The Oklahoma City Fire Chief said he believes the fire was electrical.
