OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Public School Board will decide Monday night whether to put students on a continuous learning calendar.
Supporters said the plan would shorten the amount of time kids are out of the classroom, helping them retain more of what they learn.
The plan would reduce the traditional summer break by a month. There would be a two week break in October, and the winter and spring breaks would be extended.
