Oklahoma City, Tulsa Among Forbes Most Dangerous Cities List

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Forbes Magazine named Oklahoma City and Tulsa two of the most dangerous cities in America. The study combined FBI crime statistics with data from deadly car crashes.

Tulsa ranked number six on the list; Oklahoma City came in at number nine.

The following is Forbes list of the country's 10 most dangerous cities:

1. Memphis, Tennessee
2. St. Louis, Missouri
3. Kansas City, Missouri
4. Detroit, Michigan
5. Miami, Florida
6. Tulsa, Oklahoma
7. Nashville-Davidson, Tennessee
8. Indianapolis, Indiana
9. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
10. Stockton, Calif. and Atlanta, Georgia

According to the report, only cities with a population above 250,000 were included and Chicago, Las Vegas and Virginia Beach, Va. were not included in the rankings because of incomplete data.

Forbes ranked Plano, Texas as the safest city in America.
