OKLAHOMA CITY -- The trial of two men accused of murdering a pair of Oklahoma City brothers began Monday, nearly two years after the double homicide.
Prosecutors said Doyle Wayne Briggs and Jarmal Walker killed Corey and Shannon Brown in October 2008. Their bodies were found in a car in the 700 block of N.E. 5th Street. They'd been shot to death.
Police arrested Briggs the day after the murders. Officers caught Walker a few weeks later.
Briggs and Walker are charged with two counts each of first-degree murder.
