KANSAS CITY, Missouri -- The Oklahoma Sooners battled back from a 13-point deficit early in the game to defeat the Kentucky Wildcats, 88-68.
The program made history with the win, outlasting the competition in the NCAA Tournament to see the Final Four for the second-consecutive year.
Amanda Thompson led the Sooners (27-10) in rebounds, snatching 14 total and scored17 points. Nyeshia Stevenson led the team with 31 points, while Danielle Robinson added 16, five rebounds and six assists before fouling out late in the game.
