OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Nichols Hills doctor accused of killing his 9-year-old son has been ordered to undergo a competency evaluation by an Oklahoma District Court judge.
As Dr. Stephen Wolf entered a courtroom Friday, reporters asked the doctor if he was sorry for what did.
"Yes, I'm sorry. Of course, I'm sorry," Wolf answered.
Judge Virgil Black signed the order this afternoon for Wolf.
The decision came after Wolf's defense attorney, Mack Martin, told the court that he was having a hard time communicating with his client.
The D.A.'s office expects the evaluation to take about a month. For now, the case is on hold.
Wolf is charged with first-degree murder for stabbed his 9-year-old son Tommy to death last month.
