This holiday season, a new e-card campaign is giving greeting cards a dual purpose by spreading holiday cheer AND working to feed the hungry. Between Thanksgiving and Dec. 31st, Kraft Foods is promoting their Recipe For Joy e-card program. For every holiday card that is electronically sent out, Kraft Foods has pledged to donate 10 meals to Feeding America, the nation's leading hunger relief charity. Each card includes holiday recipes or entertaining tips, which has made the program especially appealing to the company's core audience or "food-based community." The program has been so successful that Kraft Foods has increased its original goal of donating 1 million meals to 3 million. To learn more about the e-card program go to http://www.kraftfoods.com
Q: Will you use the Recipe for Joy e-card program and send out holiday greeting cards to your friends and family? Leave a comment and let me know why or why not you are participating.
