High Speed Chase End Violently

DALLAS, Texas -- A high-speed chase in Dallas ended with a violent crash Monday.

Officers said the chase started after a routine traffic stop and last close to 90 minutes.

The chase ended when the suspect ran a red light and smashed into a vehicle in the intersection.

The suspect, Shane Michel, is in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle suffered only a few minor scratches.

Michel was wanted on a felony warrant for forgery.
