High pressure is producing mostly clear skies over the Northeast, the Ohio Valley and the Mid-Atlantic region. Low pressure over the Gulf of Mexico is producing showers and thunderstorms along the Gulf Coast and over Florida. A few showers and thunderstorms are occurring along a cold from the upper Midwest to the central Plains. The southern Plains have partly to mostly sunny skies. A few scattered thunderstorms can be found over the Four Corners region, while high pressure is producing sunshine along the West Coast.
