Washington Freezing Fog Downs Trees/Airport Delays

Dense fog is causing extremely hazardous traveling conditions throughout the Spokane, Washington area - in the air and on the ground.

Dense fog has socked in the airport, causing delays - and causing extremely hazardous driving conditions, with freezing fog weighing down trees , causing trees to come down on roads.

Medical Lake-Four Lakes Road is blocked between Silver Lake and Granite Lake.

Power is also out to at least 70 customers in that area.

The sheriff's Special Incident Response Teams have been sent to the area and power company crews are working to clear the trees and fallen power lines.

Additional fallen trees are expected to be discovered as morning traffic increases
