Eric Phan given two life sentences

Eric Phan was sentenced  Friday to two consecutive life sentences for the murder of his girlfriend and her unborn child. Phan will not be eligible for parol.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Eric Phan was sentenced Friday to two consecutive life sentences for the murder of his girlfriend and her unborn child. Phan will not be eligible for parol.

The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree murder for killing girlfriend Lauren Barnes and her unborn baby last November.

Phan admitted to strangling Lauren after an argument and burying her body in a shallow grave.
