Two injured, one in custody after stabbing

One man is in police custody after allegedly stabbing two people near Western Ave. and Interstate 40 this afternoon.

The Emergency Management System Administration spokesperson Lara O'Leary said the two stabbed people were sent to Presbyterian Hospital.

There was no immediate information on how badly they were injured.

The northbound and southbound lanes of Western Ave. were closed for some time.
