STILLWATER, Okla. - James Anderson scored a game-high 22 points as Oklahoma State pulled away from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for a 60 to 46 victory tonight.
The Cowboys (4-3) widened their advantage over the Islanders during a 21 to 4 second-half run after leading by just three points at halftime.
Anderson's 3-point play on an alley oop from Nick Sidorakis and his two free throws a few minutes later keyed the Cowboys' surge and gave them a 47-27 lead.
Anderson scored 7 of the Cowboys' 21 points, and Martavius Adams contributed four during that nine-minute stretch.
Adams was the only other OSU player in double figures with 10 points. Marcus Dove finished with six points and a team-best eight rebounds.
The Islanders (1-5) were led by Isaiah Jackson with 12 points, while Justin Reynolds contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds.
