MOORE, Okla. -- The metro's newest theatre is more than a place to watch movies, boasts company president Bill Warren, who describes the 14-screen facility as a "luxury entertainment complex."
"It is the nicest theatre in America," Warren said. He hopes the complex, which will open Friday, will become a regional attraction.
It's the first theatre anywhere to have a complete digital movie projection system and THX sound system in every auditorium, Warren said.
Each seat is a custom-designed, high-back recliner and in the two largest auditoriums strategic seat placement provides moviegoers with extra leg room.
"It brings you back to the days of old where you had the luxury of white-gloved attendants and marble fireplaces," Warren said.
"We're regular moviegoers ourselves," Warren said. "We built this for us, our families and hopefully the public will like what we've done, too."
Bill Menke, Warren Theatre's corporate vice president, said he thinks moviegoers will especially appreciate Warren's decision to not run advertisements before movies.
The Warren's two auditoriums have reserved seating in the balcony, with built-in seat warmers and attendant call buttons. Patrons also can order food and cocktails, Menke said.
