A cold front dividing the state will be a focal point for showers and a few thunderstorms Wednesday evening and night, potentially.
Chances are low for central Oklahoma Wednesday evening but increases late into the night. Storms are more likely in southeast Oklahoma. If they do develop, they have the potential to become severe with golf ball size hail and damaging wind possible. Overnight temperatures drop to the upper 50’s.
Skies become partly cloudy Thursday with a breezy north wind. Highs still top out around 80 degrees.
