Wednesday kicked off with a beautiful sunrise, but cold frosty conditions.
Sunshine and a light southwest wind will help temperatures climb into the mid and upper 50s today. Southern Oklahoma will see highs in the lower 60s. It will feel more like March than January. Highs will be about 10 degrees above normal, but nowhere near record highs. This time of year our records are in the 70s.
Tomorrow, more 50s and 60s on the way, but a cold front will start to push into the Sooner State. The cold front moves into the panhandle Thursday morning, and sags into NW OK by Thursday afternoon. We likely won't see or feel the impact from the cold front here in OKC until later Thursday evening. This first front will knock our highs back into the 40s and 50s on Friday.
