Oklahoma City police are investigating after they found an 11-year-old boy standing near a wrecked vehicle Thursday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.
According to police, the non-injury crash was reported at Wilshire Blvd. and May Ave. A child was found standing near the vehicle.
When officers arrived, they found out that the car had crashed into bushes in the area. Officers had to communicate with the boy via handwritten notes, because the boy is deaf.
No one else was with the boy when officers arrived.
Police contacted the boy's parents, who soon arrived at the scene. His mother told News 9 that the car belongs to her, and that her son drove it from their home in Moore.
No one was injured.
