Fire crews responded to several grass fires in the metro Monday afternoon.
Oklahoma City Fire Department worked to knock down a grass fire near I-44 and SW 104th Street in Oklahoma City, where winds pushed it close to homes.
Meanwhile, Norman Fire Department crews responded to a grass fire 60th Avenue NW and Indian Hills Road. That fire was 40-60 acres in size burning to the east with the help of winds. Moore Fire Department also responded to help with the fire.
Around 4 p.m. Monday both fires were out after crews mopped up hot spots.
