Suspect Formally Charged For NW OKC Murder

Court officials formally charged a man for the alleged shooting and killing of Carrie A. Ezell, 37, of Meeker.

The murder charge was filed in the Oklahoma County District Court on Dec. 1 against 26-year-old Charles Chambers, court documents showed.

It happened on the 500 block of N. Sweetgum Avenue in NW Oklahoma City. Authorities said Chambers shot her and stole her car.

She later died at the hospital.
