Firefighters are trying to figure out how a popular restaurant in Norman went up in the flames.
The On the Border restaurant off Interstate 35 near Main is a multi-million dollar loss, officials said.
"The fire extended through the attic area and it was difficult to get to it," Norman Fire Deputy Chief Jim Bailey said.
"Crews couldn't get to it initially because of the high ceilings and the heat that drove them back out, so what you're seeing mostly burning is the roof area has fallen down into the restaurant, so you've got all that material that's on fire."
An employee at that location told us that workers will not lose their jobs and they have been given the option to transfer to another On the Border location.
