Tonight lows will only drop mid and upper 20s as cloud cover increases in advance of next storm system.
There will be a slight chance for light drizzle along and east of I-35 Wednesday afternoon. A light winter mix is possible in northeast OK. Highs will climb into the mid and upper 30s with some 40s in the southwest. Above freezing temperatures will mean mainly liquid precip throughout most of the day.
However, as temperatures fall throughout the evening, there will be a chance for light freezing drizzle/freezing rain in the eastern half of Oklahoma. This could cause some light icing on the bridges and overpasses for the area shaded in purple late Wednesday into Thursday morning.
Highest ice totals will be in far SE OK where up to .25" is possible. High temperatures Thursday will be in the low 40s, so any ice will melt by midday.
Warmer weather is on the way for Friday as our next storm arrives. This will mean widespread good ol' fashion rainfall for the state. Some localized areas could see up to an inch of rain.
