Sister Of OKC Man Charged With Child Rape Worried Other Children Were Targeted

An Oklahoma City man is charged with 13 counts of rape and lewd acts with a child. Now his sister is speaking out because she says she's afraid he may have hurt even more children.

This sister is devastated at the turn of events. She says she took her brother in to try to help him and give him a roof over his head. Instead she says he betrayed her, in the worst possible way.

"Sometimes the people that you trust the most are actually the ones that end up doing the most damage," said Kodi White.

White is still reeling after discovering her brother, Stephon Adams, now stands accused of sexually abusing two of her children.

"I swear it sounded just like me when I was nine, telling someone what had happened to me," said White. "I knew she wasn't lying."

White says Adams had been staying with her in a small apartment near Melrose Ln. and Council Rd. on and off for three years. White says she trusted him with her children, and so did others at the complex.

"We had a hard life, in and out of the system, not really having any place to call home," said White. "And I was just trying to restore our family."

White says now she just wants to warn others who may have had contact with her brother, especially if they had young children.

"If you know my brother, if you've seen him, and you've had him around your children you need to question your children," cried White. "Make sure he didn't do anything inappropriate."

White says as a result, her heart and her family have been ripped apart.

"Nobody could think that their loved one would do this. Nobody would know," said White. "I've lost all four of my kids and I've lost a brother because I am never ever going to speak to him again."

Adams is being held on more than half a million dollar bond.
