El Reno was one of many cities hit hard during Friday night's tornadoes.

The El Reno campus of the Canadian Valley Technology Center was in one of the hardest hit areas of Friday night's storms. We're told only one class was going on during storms, and maintenance staff was also in the building.

Schools officials say the campus sustained severe structure damage by a tornado at approximately 6:30 p.m. There were no injuries.

School officials say for the week of June 3-7, all regularly scheduled employees are not to report to work until they receive further instructions. They are making every effort to relocate all employees to temporary locations. In addition, all daytime and evening classes at the El Reno and Cowan campuses, including the day care center and scheduled meetings, are cancelled the week of June 3-7.

Fifteen people in the building when tornado hit. All were able to get safely tucked into a basement.

One administrator described the damage he saw when he arrived on scene after the tornado.

"It's unbelievable damage. It's just incredible, direct hits. I'm not sure what the EF rating is on the tornado. It's dark, it's been dark. I got here after it was dark and I really don't know. We'll know in the morning but it looks like a total loss," Greg Winters said.
