The Oklahoma State Fair is gearing up for its 106th run. It starts in just two days.
On Tuesday, News 9 went to check out the new rides and fried foods fairgoers can expect this year.
The 106th Oklahoma State Fair has more than 600 exhibitors, setting up to serve and sell to an estimated 1 million folks expected to descend on the Oklahoma City fairgrounds.
"Fried food is why you come to the fair for, cinnamon rolls and fried food, twinkles," said Dan Rowlett who runs the "Cinnamon Roll Man."
Once the food settles, families can try out 75 games, shows, and rides.
"Vertigo swing ride 130 feet in the air that's one of their new rides they brought this year," state fair president Tim O'Toole said.
The Oklahoma State Fair also didn't forget about your old favorites. That's why the president says this fair is so special.
Admission price did not go up this year. It's still $9, or you can buy them online for $7. And it's only $2 when the fair opens this Thursday.
