Emergency crews have capped a gas line leak in downtown Oklahoma City Friday morning.
At around 9 a.m. Friday, construction crews hit a possible high pressure gas line near the City Place Building at Robinson Avenue and Park Avenue in downtown Oklahoma City, according to officials.
Several businesses in the area were evacuated. About 500 people were evacuated from the City Place Building. Crews are monitoring the air inside that building at this time.
Hazmat and Oklahoma Natural Gas crews were also called to respond to the incident.
Officials say people will be allowed to go back into the buildings shortly. No injuries have been reported.
