McLoud Residents React To Child Pornography Charges

After weeks of speculation, Pottawatomie County prosecutors confirm there is a second suspect in the McLoud sex scandal involving elementary school students.

Thursday, Kimberly Crain and Gary Doby, known as Uncle G, were charged with multiple counts of manufacturing child pornography. Crain is accused of taking partially-nude photos of her third grade students and sharing them with Doby.

The news of the arrest traveled fast.

"It has got to be something going on if he's skyping with kids and little third graders. I am glad he got arrested," said Heidi Boone of McLoud.

Others tell News 9 the allegations anger them.

"Apparently they found evidence but I am glad she was caught and this professor Uncle G, whoever he is, I am glad he was caught and hopefully there will be justice," said Keri Hutchens, a McLoud Elementary parent.

McLoud Public Schools issued a statement thanking parents for their understanding and said they've been tight-lipped about this to help authorities in their investigation.
