OKC Man Dies Two Weeks After Shooting

A man shot outside a home in northeast Oklahoma City on Thursday, October 27, has died from his injuries.

A man shot outside a home in northeast Oklahoma City on Thursday, October 27, has died from his injuries.

Police say Larry Richardson and Henry Battles, Jr., were arguing around 11:45 p.m. near N.E. 14th Street and Washington when another man, 17-year-old Jimmy Owen, shot them.

Both Richardson and Battles were rushed to a hospital. Richardson, 58, seemed to be improving, but his condition degraded and he died from his injuries on Thursday, November 10.

Battles survived but his condition is not known.

Police arrested Owen soon after the shooting and booked him into the Oklahoma County Jail. Police say there are no other suspects.
