EDMOND, Oklahoma -- An Edmond police officer en route to a larceny call was involved in an accident at about 10 p.m. Friday. The patrol car was traveling eastbound on Second Street when a truck going westbound turned into the Target Supercenter.
Edmond Police spokesperson Glynda Chu said the officer's car received pretty substantial damage after striking the truck. The officer was taken to a local hospital to be checked out but was uninjured.
The man and woman in the pickup were also not injured. Their truck received some damage after rolling a quarter turn onto the driver's side.
