Drug Sweep Nets Nearly A Dozen Arrests In Enid

In a one-week period, the Narcotics Unit of the Enid Police Department arrested eight people on drug complaints.

ENID, Oklahoma -- In a one-week period, the Narcotics Unit of the Enid Police Department arrested eight people on drug complaints.

Police conducted an undercover investigation and purchased illegal narcotics. Based on those activities, investigators obtained warrants for eight people. One of those suspects, Michael Brooks, was arrested at the Enid Public Library.

Pedro Cardona and Jana Howell were already incarcerated on unrelated charges. They were served warrants in jail.

The Narcotics Unit said the drug sweep will continue over the next several weeks.
