Tulsa Police Investigating Homicide After Body Found Near Soccer Field

Tulsa police are investigating a homicide after a body was discovered by a passerby.

According to police, the body was discovered in a parking lot at a soccer field near South Elwood Ave & West 37th Place after somebody noticed it while walking their dog.

"It's really early and we want to hold as much information as we can so that when we talk to people and they tell us something we can identify that this is true," said Lt. Brandon Watkins, Tulsa police.

Police have not released the victim's name at this time.
