CHANDLER, Okla. - A Chandler woman is traveling across country in hope of catching her daughter's killer.
Maggie Zingman spent more than five weeks and $2,000 in gas in her second trip looking for whoever killed her daughter, Brittany Phillips. In September of 2004, the college student was raped and slain in her Tulsa apartment.
"He still could be within five miles within her house, or he could be down any of these highways," Zingman said. "That was sorta my idea, traveling down the highways this killer could have gone down."
There have been no arrests in the case. Zingman said she is planning another one trip to head out west.
"We are hitting the fourth anniversary and I just can't stand the thought of him being out there," she said. "There is never any total peace when you have lost a child, other than doing things in honor of them."
