Talala's Police Chief is expected to resign on Tuesday.

The resignation is the result of a dispute over the department’s budget. Chief Phillip Coe says the city wants him to write more tickets to make more money. The city's mayor says after the chief leaves, they'll look for a replacement.

Rogers County deputies will respond to calls in Talala until a replacement is found.
