Rogers County Bake Sale Raises $1,900 For 3 Families In Need

A bake sale put on by the Rogers County Sheriff's Office is helping three families suffering from severe medical conditions.

The Sheriff's Office teamed up with the District Attorney's office to sell cakes, cookies, and other baked items at the Rogers County Courthouse. In total $1,900 was raised as part of a special program called "10-23 Request Backup".

"Operation 10-23 is to signify that we have officers within our team that need our assistance now not later but immediately," said RCSO Major Coy Jenkins.

The money will be used to help pay for things like medical expenses and travel.
