Two people are in critical condition after an injury crash near Verdigris Friday evening. The crash took place around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 266 and EW 4110 Road.
Police said a car was stopped on the highway to turn south onto 4110 Road when a second car rear-ended them. The second car spun into the path of a black Camaro which was eastbound on Highway 266 then continued into the grass.
Authorities said two people in the car that rear-ended the first, westbound vehicle were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Camaro was transported with a leg injury, according to Verdigris police.
The driver of the car that was hit from behind refused treatment.
Verdigris Police said they don't know why the driver of the second car rear-ended the driver that was turning left, but there was no sign any skid marks or any indication the driver tried to stop.
