Former Rogers County Commissioner Baldridge Arrested Again

A former Rogers County commissioner was arrested early Monday after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, sheriff's officials said.

Randy Lee Baldridge, 50, was a passenger in a car that had been pulled over for not having a working tag lamp. The driver of that vehicle, identified as Michael Newman, was arrested after authorities determined his driver's license had been suspended and that he had an outstanding warrant for larceny.

A sheriff's deputy went to explain the situation to Baldridge when that officer spotted Oxycodone and meth in Baldridge's possession, according to a report filed Monday morning.

A syringe was later found in Baldridge's possession at the Rogers County Jail, authorities said.

This is not the first time Baldridge has been arrested. In 2014, he was arrested on suspicion of harboring runaways for drugs and sex and eventually pleaded guilty. 

In 2007, a jury found him guilty of money laundering, mail fraud, obtaining money by fraud and other counts. A judge then sentenced Baldridge to 37 months in federal prison.
