Jenks Police Department Loses One Of Its Own

The Jenks Police Department says it is grieving the loss of one of its members February 23.

A Facebook post Saturday night shows Sergeant Brian Crain died of a sudden heart attack. He was a Jenks High School graduate and joined the department in 1999. He leaves behind his wife, Lisa.

Jenks Police Chief Cameron Arthur issued the following statement:

“The Department, community, and his family are grieving the loss of a true hero today in Sgt. Brian Crain, who died of a sudden heart attack. He was a graduate of Jenks High School, joined the Department in 1999, and rose through the ranks to Sergeant.

It was an honor and privilege to work with, and promote, Sgt. Crain. He truly served his community, family, and Department with distinction and honor. He will be missed greatly.

My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Lisa and all her family. Rest In Peace Sgt Crain. “
