Monday's Broken Arrow's School Board Meeting will have a special presentation that could transform the school district.
Many of the specific details are embargoed until after the presentation but the reason for the meeting is no secret.
For years, the district has been looking at other options after it was made clear by the community in 2017 that many were against the idea of building an additional high school.
The presentation will address the high school itself which is the largest in the state with more than 3,700 students in grades 10 through 12 but it will also look at the high school experience and discuss ideas from other districts like Kansas City, Chicago, and Dallas.
The plan focuses on several key areas.
"Academic programming, partnerships, internships, all of that sort of thing will be presented to the board tonight and they will vote to accept or not to accept that," said Charlie Hannema with BAPS.
Another option would be to table the discussion for another meeting although school officials say they expect a decision on this first step to be made Monday night.
