Hundreds of Tulsans will honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s memory Monday by taking part in service projects around town.

City Year Tulsa Service Project To Honor Martin Luther King Jr.'s Memory

Hundreds of Tulsans will honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s memory Monday by taking part in service projects around town.

One of those projects will benefit a Tulsa Public School.

City Year Tulsa says more than 300 volunteers will be involved in their annual project to honor Dr. King's memory. The volunteers will take on a beautification project at Nathan Hale Junior High School.

City Year Tulsa refers to one of Dr. King's quotes as an inspiration for this project.

He said "life's most persistent and urgent question is "what are you doing for others?"

This is City Year Tulsa's 6th year to host its day of service.
