Jay Attorney Jailed In North Carolina For Solicitation To Murder

A Delaware County defense attorney in jail in North Carolina charged with solicitation to murder.

Authorities in Charlotte say Winston Connor, a defense attorney from Jay, was arrested Saturday.

The Grove Sun newspaper obtained court documents, showing Connor is facing 10 felony charges. Those charges include unlawful communication with a convict, solicitation of prostitution and conspiracy to distribute drugs.

Saturday, law enforcement served a search warrant at his office in Jay.
