Police are looking for the person who they say burglarized Brown's Donut Shop in Tulsa.

Owner: Money Taken In Tulsa Donut Shop Burglary

Tulsa Police say they're looking for the person who broke into Brown's Donut Shop near Pine and Yale and stole hundreds of dollars.

Police said this is the third time this year that the shop was targeted by thieves. The owner of Brown's Donut Shop said this is not the way he imagined returning from Christmas; to discover that the shop had been burglarized.

The owner said the suspect forced open the drive-through window and climbed inside. She took nearly $500 from the office then ran off.

The owner said he looked at surveillance video and discovered that the suspect is a woman who they occasionally give food to. Joe Wood, who works next door at Carpet and More, said it's scary to know that this happened so close to the shop where he and his sons work.

"I was really surprised because this is about the second time, I think, in the last six months that that's happened," Wood said.
