The Philbrook Museum of Art is asking for help in identifying a woman featured in a 50-year-old film clip.
The Philbrook shared the clip on its Facebook page and tagged News On 6 because the woman mentions KOTV in the clip. Here's what the woman says in the clip:
"Tomorrow, Christmas day becomes a reality, instead of an anticipated future. So today KOTV invites you to take a moment to look at the meanings behind the holiday and the reasons for it. Christmas is that time of year when the words, peace, hope and love have special meaning. And so KOTV, with the cooperation of Philbrook Art Center and the artistry of photographer Rick Smith, brings this Christmas card to you."
Jeff Martin, Communications Manager for Philbrook, said no one at the museum has any information about the woman. That includes the museum's librarian/archivist, who's worked there for decades.
All they know is that it's labeled a Christmas postcard and that it's from 1968.
Martin said the clip features works from the museum's Renaissance Collection from the Kress Foundation. He said many of them are still on display at the museum.
If you know who the woman is, please send email to newsdesk@newson6.net.
