Fire Destroys Abandoned Nowata Home

Police say an abandoned Nowata home is destroyed by fire early Tuesday.

In a post on the Nowata Police Department's Facebook page, emergency crews were called to the structure at Osage and Oak.  The home is located about two blocks south of the downtown area of town.

Police say the structure is considered a total loss.
