Police say thanks to a tip, officers arrested a Bartlesville driver who they believe struck a man walking in the street late Tuesday, then drove off.
He is identified as 33-year-old Michael Knight.
Police Captain Jay Hastings says the incident happened on a Highway 75 access road just north of Frank Phillips Boulevard near the Walgreens store.

After getting the tip, Captain Hastings said investigators went to Knight's home. He says Michael Knight was taken to the police station, where Captain Hastings said Knight confessed to be the driver and that he was high when he struck the man.
Captain Hastings says police got a search warrant and recovered a 2004 Dodge Neon from Knight's garage. He says investigators noticed the odor of fresh paint and a cracked windshield on the car.
Michael Knight was booked into the Washington County jail on a complaint of leaving the scene of an injury accident.
