Family and friends of two young girls who died in a tragic car accident Friday night, came together honor them Sunday.
11-year-old Madeline Shrinivas attended church at Redeemer Covenant Church with the youth group on Wednesday nights. Student Pastor Michael Wopsle said tonight Madeline's friends will share the memories they shared with her and Hannah McCleery,16, who the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says also died in the crash.
"At times like this, we can be reminded of how important telling people how we feel is, loving people well and aggressively because both Hannah and Madeline did that. They loved people really well," said Wopsle
McCleery, however, did not attend church here. The pastor says they hopefully help bring hope and healing to the hearts of their friends.

The district released a statement Monday saying, "We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Madeline Shrinivas and Hannah McCleery. Our hearts go out to the families affected by this tragic accident, and our thoughts are with Leah Shrinivas and all of the family members who are still recovering from their injuries. Counselors are available to our students who are grieving and beginning the healing process. We urge everyone to respect the privacy of the family and all those who are mourning during this extremely difficult time."
