A ministry that's been feeding Tulsa's homeless for 40 years will soon break ground on a new facility.
Iron Gate signed an agreement this week to lease land that Tulsa County owns.
The ministry has been trying to find a downtown location to build on for nearly five years, but faced a lot of challenges along the way, like being denied Tulsa building permits.
Iron Gate will build a new building at the intersection of Archer and Frisco, just west of the Day Center for the Homeless.
The soup kitchen and food pantry signed a 99 year lease for county-owned land.

The group currently serves out of Trinity Episcopal Church downtown Tulsa.
Groundbreaking on the project is expected this summer.
