Record-Breaking Oklahoma Longhorn Sells For $165,000

A record-breaking longhorn bull from Oklahoma has a new home.

"Cowboy Tuff Chex" is the Guinness world record holder as the longest horned bull ever.

The 7-year-old bull was auctioned in Fort Worth over the weekend.

A pair of longhorn enthusiasts from Fayetteville, Texas took him home for $165,000.

"We're going to bubble wrap him when we get him to the ranch. Our guys will know you don't make Tuff do anything he doesn't want to do."

The bull's horns measure more than eight feet across.

The average is about six feet.
    
The new owners will use the new bull for breeding on their ranch, where they already have more than 100 head of longhorn cattle.
