The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports one person is dead after a rollover crash near Chelsea. Troopers say the single-vehicle wreck took place around 3:30 a.m. on County Road E/W 350, about a half mile east of County Road N/S 4200.
That's on the east side of Oologah Lake in Rogers County.
Troopers said a 15-year-old passenger died in the wreck after being thrown from a Jeep Liberty. He has been identified as Jeremiah Nelson. Two other teenagers, males ages 14 and 17, were admitted to the hospital where they are said to be stable with multiple injuries, according to OHP.
Omr Nofal, 17, and 14-year-old Mason Sullivan were injured in the crash.
All three are from Chelsea, the OHP report states.
OHP continues to investigate the cause of the fatal wreck and who was driving. Video of the scene shows the Jeep Liberty went off the roadway into a wooded area where it hit a tree and rolled.
The 15-year-old boy wasn't wearing a seat belt, OHP said. They don't know if the other two passengers were buckled in or not, the collision report states.
