EMSA Approves $400 Rate Increase For Emergency Transport

EMSA is approving an emergency transport rate increase of $400 for the Tulsa area.

The Board of Trustees approved the rate increase, which would mean that an emergency ambulance rides will cost $1,700.

The Tulsa City Council has to approve the increase. If they do so, it will go into place on September 1st, 2017.

The increase will not affect EMSAcare enrollment.
